Get Alerted When...
🥶 Freeze Alert
Heads up when temps are forecast to drop below 32°F in the next 24 hours — but only after a warm stretch, so you're not spammed all winter. Perfect for that first fall freeze and catching rogue spring cold snaps. (48-hour cooldown.)
🧣 Chilly Alert
A gentler nudge when temps are about to dip below 40°F within 24 hours after a few mild days. Think: cover the tomatoes, bring the potted plants in. Suppressed when a freeze alert is already on its way. (48-hour cooldown.)
🌬️ Wind or Storm Alert
A quick warning when gusts of 30+ mph or a likely severe thunderstorm are on the 2-hour horizon. Time to stow the patio umbrella, grill cover, and anything else that'd rather not become a projectile. (9-hour cooldown.)
💧 Plant & Lawn Watering Alert
A sunrise-time ping on dry mornings — when less than an inch of rain has fallen in the past week, today's low is 50°F+, and no real rain is in the forecast. Water the lawn before the day heats up. (Once per day, max.)
🥵 Extreme Heat Alert
Get a morning alert for when the heat index is going to average over 95°F for the day, or two or more hours will have a heat index over 100°F. Heat becomes especially dangerous over these temperatures so get alerts on what you should do to protect yourself and others.
🕕 Bi-Weekly Spring and Summer Homecast Tasks
Bi-Weekly warm weather reminders to keep up with home exterior care such as... knocking down spider webs on the house or your deck, spread plant fertilizer, deep water drees and bushes, remove standing water to prevent mosquitos, etc.
🗓️ Bi-Annual Reminders
Safety experts recommend checking things like smoke alarm batteries, clean out gutters, flush or clean out floor drains, service or schedule service on HVAC systems, and many other things bi-annually. We'll send a bi-annual reminder list of things to check around the time when countries observe daylight savings.
