What's New

We're always tuning when and why each reminder fires so you get the nudges that matter and skip the ones that don't. Here's what has changed lately. 🛠️

Smarter watering reminders and working overnight storm alerts

🌬️ Wind or Storm Alert

  • Fixed overnight coverage. After midnight the forecast window was quietly dropping from 10 hours back to 3, so overnight storms now reach you the evening before.
  • Storm alerts now trigger on moderate-to-heavy rain showers. The old trigger used a weather code our forecast provider never sends.

💧 Plant & Lawn Watering Alert

  • Drizzle no longer counts as watering your lawn. Skipping a reminder now takes at least one hour of genuinely moderate rain.
  • Rain is now checked 17 hours ahead instead of 12, so afternoon and evening rain cancels the morning reminder.
  • Retuned what counts as a rainy day: hours qualify at a 60% chance of rain instead of 66%, but four are needed instead of three.

  • Alert descriptions on the home page and your dashboard now match how each alert actually behaves.
  • Added this changelog. Every alert email now links to it.
